Wizard of Legend 2 is a fast-paced roguelite dungeon crawler, where you play as a wizard attempting to gain the title of Wizard of Legend.

You enter the chaos trials repeatedly, attempting to get to and then beat Hyronimus, the current Wizard of Legend.

You equip 4 arcana at the start: a basic, a dash, a signature, and a standard.

A basic arcana is an arcana you can spam: it does not have a cooldown. Basic arcana are incredibly important. Make sure, whatever basic arcana you’re using, that you like it.

A dash arcana is used during dashes, when it isn’t on cooldown. Dash arcana can be used to deal damage while dodging, preparing a trap while dodging, or enhancing your dodge.

A signature arcana is the specific spell you unleash as your ultimate, or use otherwise! It has its normal version, which is just a spell with a cooldown that is decently powerful on average, but when used when your signature charge bar has been filled, you can unleash your ultimate: an incredibly enhanced version of your signature.

A standard arcana is a spell with a cooldown, and often more powerful than any other non-ultimate non-standard spell in your arcana. Standard arcana are special in the way that you can get two more than you start with throughout the run, allowing you to have a total of 3 standard arcana.

You also get 1 relic at the start of your run, and can have up to a total of 10 relics throughout the run. Relics enhance things like damage and health, or allow more debuffs or less cooldowns, or so on.

You can also get cursed relics during your run, which have a positive and a negative, but can be much more powerful than normal relics if used correctly. Be careful, though, since some cursed relics can easily bring more harm than good.
